I made a prototype of my map with the images, map and space to describe/visualise the artworks. Missing the text, but I could explain that.

I showed it to two people.

1. Present prototype

2. Give short intro on the concept/what it is while they look through it

3. Ask user what they think/ask them for opinions.

4. Ask them for some questions

5. Ask them to draw something

6. Listen to feedback

Questions:

Is it easy to understand?

Do I need to put explanations with the images.

Should I give more specific instructions?

User 1: 20, female, sometimes afraid to asleep

Take away

With the explanation it's definitely easy to understand so add text, I should add more text for sure though, it would also fill up the design better. As for directions, she liked how it was freely but when I gave her an example direction like "Draw/describe the monster the cutest way possible" she said that would make it more interesting and fun. So maybe I can me a little bit more specific with the instructions without limiting or making the interface less personal.

Take away

The user isn't really that much into art so this was very new to him, he loves games and riddles however. So he thought the extra instructions were nice idea as it made him use his brain more. He also talked about text, he prefers loads of text so I kind to find a middle ground here.
